Lee F. Lasris
Lee F. Lasris is a Board Certified Health Law attorney and a partner at the Florida Health Law Center. Mr. Lasris has served as counsel to numerous health-care providers, including physician practices, diagnostic imaging providers, managed care organizations, hospitals, physical therapy providers, value added provider networks, home health agencies, management companies and other health-care related entities. His managed care experience has included representation of providers, provider networks, and payors, including full risk and fee-for-service provider contracting, as well as providing legal advice concerning licensure, and other regulatory issues involving managed care organizations. He regularly counsels health-care providers on various legal matters including general corporate compliance, joint ventures, reimbursement, fraud and abuse, HIPAA, licensure, physician self referral, business structuring, practice formation and dissolution, business acquisitions and general corporate matters.
Prior to forming Florida Health Law Center with Jodi Laurence in 2008, Mr. Lasris was a partner at the law firms of Frank, Weinberg, & Black, Ferrell Schultz Carter & Fertel and at Holland & Knight. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, he was the founder and managing partner of Lasris, Samuels and Freger, P.A.
Mr. Lasris served as the Vice Chair of the Health Law Certification Committee of The Florida Bar. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and has achieved the highest “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
